User Reviews

Players praise puzzles and the paranormal vibe but cite repeated bugs, a disjointed story without Rick, a paywall, and short length. Overall, the game shows potential and fans want a sequel with bugs fixed.
Pros
  • Engaging puzzles and varied hidden-object scenes.
  • Strong paranormal atmosphere and series appeal, with fans hoping for Rick’s return and a sequel.
  • Good value for money and a decent length for the price.
  • Generally smooth gameplay reported by several players.
Cons
  • Recurring bugs that block progress (unlock black screen, glass in crypt, invisible inventory) and occasional resets.
  • Storyline coherence issues and absence of Rick, leaving the plot feeling disjointed.
  • Pay-to-unlock model and free-trial misrepresentation.
  • Short length relative to price.
  • Visual/UI problems such as blurry graphics and touchscreen sensitivity concerns.

All of us players who have enjoyed the series really deserve some sort of answer as to whether the series will continue on with Rachel and the team or if Rick will eventually return. As for the game itself, it was OK. Not the worst not the best. I did have several of my inventory pieces just not be there. The circles were there and the items were there they were just invisible. They could still be used, but it was a little annoying to have to figure out which circle held which inventory piece. Other than that it was OK -- but again please tell us about Rick. Enough is enough.UPDATE: I’ve seen this mentioned recently and I have same problem on downloading game. When I hit the unlock button, the screen goes dark and there’s no way to play. Also happening with Detectives United 6. Have reported.

Wanted to play this game’s collector’s edition, but touching unlock on the first screen, just gets me black screen and stays there till I restart the game. After restarting I can play the game, but still can’t unlock. Playing on iPad 9th generation with latest iPadOS. Can you fix this please. You would probably tell me that my connection is bad, but it is not. All my other apps connecting with no issues
