The effects are limited and all seem quite useless. There is no obvious way to zoom/crop, it seems. Their other app ToonApp is much recent and more capable at the same subscription price.

The app is cool in theory. A friend was using it to cartoon a group of us and it worked great until she got to mine. For whatever reason the app can’t draw curls. I thought maybe it’s that particular picture so I downloaded the app myself and tried various photos with the same result. Furthermore, it distorted or blurred my face in photos, I presume in an attempt to blur my hair. I tried photos of my son, same result. It would either blur the hair or keep the hair in its original form from the photo, which looks completely unnatural and weird with a cartoon face. Straight hair was not a problem but any texture (curls, braids, twists etc) was a disaster. Very disappointing

Most of the filters don’t work, literal distortion and dis forms the faces for whatever reason. Would be a good app with potential but everyone wants you to buy, buy, buy like N Sync! SMH.. have yet to find one app that actually does with it shows or even a bit of accuracy in the photos. 👎🏼
