User Reviews

Indies' Lies is a strong mobile roguelike deckbuilder with depth and a Slay the Spire vibe, and a visually appealing style. Reviewers praise its content, DLC value, and updates, but repeatedly flag ad-driven crashes that cause black screens and progress loss, plus occasional bugs and grammar issues. Some players also voice concerns about DLC pricing. Overall, it’s compelling when ads cooperate, with notable polish and ongoing improvements needed to smooth out ad-related disruptions.
Pros
  • Deep, engaging roguelike deckbuilder with strategic depth and diverse builds.
  • Striking art style and theme that stand out among mobile games.
  • DLCs add meaningful content and there is an affordable option to remove ads.
  • Positive overall quality and frequent updates that improve the game over time.
  • Favorable Slay the Spire comparison with its own twists and solid mobile performance.
Cons
  • Ads cause crashes, black screens, and block progress across rounds.
  • Progress/data loss due to crashes/restarts disrupts gameplay and requires restarts.
  • Occasional bugs and card mechanic glitches that affect reliability.
  • Grammar/translation issues that can confuse mechanics and descriptions.
  • Monetization concerns around DLC pricing and cosmetic practices.
Recent reviews
As stated. Watching ads for things makes the screen just go black after the ad is over. Have to restart the app. This bug is over a year old and still not fixed. 1-star review stays until that is fixed. Also, this game is many years older than Slay the Spire. Quit saying this is like that game. That game is like this. Except Splay the Spire is boring.

It’s like slay the spire but doesn’t just copy it it actually feels like its own game and the idea for companions is amazing I bought every dlc and plan on buying more but I hope in a future update I can buy skins cause I work a lot and don’t have time to do the challenges but it’s so cool how the skin also changes the art of the cards been playing for a couple weeks and can’t wait to play more I play this game more than slay the spire that’s on my console
