Long Island Theatre’s mission is to help local theatres thrive by creating the best possible experience for those in front of the curtain, those behind the curtain and those watching the curtain! We offer the Long Island theatre community a view into our comprehensive database of live show listings, audition notices, performance history, cast lists, and more.

FOR THEATRE GOERS: • See a list of live shows across Long Island that are currently playing or coming soon • Get all the show details, including the company name, show dates, ticket cost, how to purchase tickets, a description of the show, and a cast list • Scan the show dates to see show times and venue location • Find the venue on a map and get directions to the show • Use the Calendar feature to add a show date reminder to your personal calendar • Try the Cast Search feature to see if any of your friends are appearing in a show • Use the Company Search feature to learn more about the theatre company that is producing a show, what productions they have coming up, and what they’ve done in the past • Use the Subscribe option join our mailing list

FOR PERFORMERS: • See a list of scheduled, ongoing, and emergency audition opportunities • Use the Calendar feature to get a day by day list of upcoming auditions • For each of the auditions, learn more about the director, audition instructions, performance dates, rehearsal information, and a show description • Scan the audition dates to see audition times and locations • Find the audition location on a map and get directions • Use the Calendar feature to add an audition date reminder to your personal calendar • Use the Company Search feature to learn more about the theatre company that is hosting the audition

FOR CASTING DIRECTORS: • If you are having trouble filling out your cast, use the Role Search feature to see who has previously been in a show that you are currently casting • Use the Role Search feature to see who has played a particular role in order to find a replacement for one of your cast members who has dropped out • Learn more about a performer’s past performance history • Use the Submit option to send us your show and audition notices

For LICTC members: • If you are an LICTC member, app users looking at your performance history will also be able to see your headshot and profile and, optionally, your contact information.
