A simple calculator to help the Interventional Radiologist understand Yttrium-90 treatment planning

Y90 Dosimetry Calculator is a tool to help the user to better understand Y-90 treatment planning. Single compartment and partition model calculators are available depending on user preference.

Tumor to normal (T:N) ratio is included in the partition model calculations. A sphere count page determines the mean sphere count in the perfused volume for SirSpheres™ or Therasphere™ for multiple dates of calibrations.

The patient-specific total liver volume (TLV) based on Vauthey et al. can be determined based on the height and weight and used to determine the theoretical liver volume. The actual liver volume and perfused/treated volume are used to determine the percentage of the TLV that is left untreated.
