We didn’t have any issues with the app: just download and get everything set up before you get there and it should work fine. I bought tickets outside of the app.

Like some other Barcelona sites they “require” you to download the app and are pushy about it. Actually you don’t need to, but they make it difficult to do stuff if you don’t. When you do use it, the recording freezes frequently and you need to find your spot in the segment again. Not just me, my partner too. Look, just email people a QR code for entrance. It’s not hard. Give people a handset, and tell them if they prefer they can download an app an use their own earbuds, but it should not be mandatory and it should not be harder to visit sites without the app.
