User Reviews

CarX Drift Racing 3 is praised for its stunning graphics, realistic physics, and deep customization, plus a broad mix of maps and modes. However, players repeatedly point to monetization and progression concerns (expensive upgrades, pay-to-win feel) and performance issues (crashes, long loads, device optimization). The absence of free-roam multiplayer/open lobby is also noted as a drawback. Overall, strong visuals and depth are balanced by stability and progression frustrations.
Pros
  • Stunning graphics and visuals.
  • Realistic physics and car handling.
  • Deep customization and editor features (decal editor, tuning, Configurator Editor).
  • Wide content: many maps, game modes, and cars to drift.
  • Engaging and enjoyable overall gameplay.
Cons
  • Monetization and progression balance issues (expensive cars/parts, pay-to-win feel, poor event rewards).
  • Performance issues and high hardware requirements (frequent crashes, long loading times, optimization problems on some devices).
  • Lack of free-roam multiplayer/open lobby (no free ride multiplayer).

It’s a really fun game but it overheats my phone but I mean overall it’s a really good game 10/10

Update: I think this game could have much more player support with more progression. I don’t put this game down because “I’m tired of drifting my butt off for hours and my fingers just won’t move”…. I typically close this app in frustration then open another to cool down, because the 50+ tires I burned just earned me a nickel(in comparison to in game currency) meanwhile you’re selling a car for $17.99usd that still needs a $600,000 trans, a $6(usd)dollar differential, and another $100 in parts purchased by the unobtainable currency. To actuall “max” out its performance . I don’t understand how these road blocks are making you more money and making your fan base heavier. I wish you guys could focus more on customization/personalization And accessibility. Whose idea was it to get the 3d models backwards on all of the 1-4 lvl suspension kits and forget to add paint? Which was one THE best features. A laser cnc cut lower control arm and boxed knuckle with roll center correction is a MUCH higher level Part. Yet…. Lv.1 -2 are what looks to be “wisefab” And lv.3-4 looks to be very early generation “powered by max arms and knuckles” which would be considered street/track or grassroots. “Pbm” sells a bigger badder kit now but those even look more like your “lv.1-2” suspension. THOSE ARE BACKWARDS👍🏾 I Love this game! Just like all the other car x studio games. Awesome detail, great driving physics. Just all around awesome….. except 1 thing. THE PROGRESSION IS NON EXISTENT. I’m trying drift not grab another 9-5 job. If I have $500,000… I’d like to think I could afford suspension arms, but I can’t even the buy them. I have to complete almost 100battles if not more. Also I have to win all those battles. At the end of all that I have like a 10% chance of getting the part I need. A angle kit is what makes drifting fun. If I have to do “not fun” drifting just to attain one I’ll just play CX2 or wait to hop on my pc. I honestly think the paywalls keep the player count down. Id gladly give you my $20-$50 dollars if I knew I wouldn’t get stuck with a car I don’t want and useless upgrades. What’s the point of money in the game if using only gets you another car that takes 30+ hours to upgrade! Also season pass for $9 dollars?? For 30days? Is crazy talk! All while we have to wait for campaign updates just to get the special currency. The rewards should be a part of the completion not pay…. This game feels a lot closer to pay to play compared to cx2. Otherwise… ADD “nitrous” and “anti-lag”to every game. Including pc and console, because there is no pro drift league in the world you won’t find the 2 systems being utilized. The V8 motors in the game will forever have an advantage because the lack of “anti-lag and “nitrous” That’s what makes a 2jz, rb26, and sr20 worth using In real life. I’m not hating, I love your work. Best drift game there is, and has been for 10years now almost. Update- WHY DID DEVS PLACE TIRES ON THE SPRINGSTONE WALL!?!? ”wall tap” and “wall ride/proximity are gone so why remove them after doing all this beautiful work to physics engine. Then ruin the the challenge of walls in the first place??? GREAT GAME been playing for a decade almost.

I’ve been playing all car x games but the car x 2 had drift setups to choose, I can’t find my right handling set up without my car always spinning out in the car x 3
