There are currently 1,596 disorder entries, 3,679 biochemical or clinical phenotype entries, and 9,679 disorder-phenotype association entries in the database.

IEMbase features: Easy browsing through IEMs; Simple search for any IEM or term; Mini-expert system to search for a combination of clinical symptoms and biochemical markers and their deviations; Biochemical tests panel; Gene panel; Age-related clinical symptoms; Age-related biochemical markers; Disease and Gene information.
