Features & Capabilities

My City: University Roleplay is a kid-friendly Chrome extension that turns learning into playful exploration. It offers a fully interactive university world where players attend mini-games and classes—science, painting, art, and music—and can roleplay as students or teachers. Explore areas like the University Lobby, Art and Science Classrooms, the School Hallway, Cafeteria, and Outdoor Park to uncover secrets, complete activities, and design your own space.

Designed for ages 4-12, the game emphasizes safe, ad-free play: no third-party ads or in-app purchases; it's a one-time purchase with free updates forever. It also connects with other My City titles so players can share characters across games, and it supports multi-touch for group play. Over 100 million kids have played our games worldwide.

User Reviews

Overall, the app is loved for its fun, feature-rich university theme, but reviews frequently flag ads and monetization, glitches, and a desire for more content. A loyal player base and strong franchise appeal accompany these drawbacks.
Pros
  • Fun and engaging gameplay that players repeatedly express loving.
  • Rich and varied content with many activities and classes (e.g., cafeteria) providing long play value.
  • Strong loyalty to the My City brand; players appreciate the developer's other games in the series.
  • Overall positive reception with many players recommending and buying the game.
Cons
  • Ad-supported monetization and gating content (ads to unlock features; some players feel they must repurchase after paying).
  • Glitches, crashes, and unreliability (blank screens, unresponsive UI) affecting play.
  • Requests for more content and features (more rooms, more classes, and additional university settings).

I love this game, but sometimes it can be very annoying because when I’m playing the game and then I leave I come back the next day on the game and all my characters have the free ad thing on it and I don’t know that’s what it exactly said but yeah it’s annoying.
