Hungryroot: Healthy Groceries

Hungryroot is a joke. Thank goodness I got a discount on my first order, because the original price was over $230. For that amount, I received a single cup of chips, a single mini bag of popcorn, and barely enough food for two adults for so called “meal”. I would give this company zero stars if I could. After seeing the amount charged compared to the quantity of food provided, I was shocked. I can get significantly more food from the grocery store for a fraction of the price. The value simply isn’t there. Extremely disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this service to anyone looking for affordable meal options.

After getting 2 separate orders that I had to throw directly into the trash because it wasn’t packed well and got hot during transit, I would absolutely not recommend this service. Spent more time probing food to check temps than it would have taken me to go shopping.
