I've been studying a new language for a long time, but I'm still not good at listening. I've never had a chance to actually speak and listen.

langTube has a useful dual subtitles player and AI assistant for YouTube. AI finds difficult language, then creates flashcards and generates a YouTube video summary!

The method we propose is simple.

STEP1: Learn authentic English from your favorite YouTubers, artists, and bloggers. Learn real English used in your favorite videos. Watch the video with subtitles and practice shadowing.

STEP2: Learn the vocabulary and phrases you want to memorize. Save the words and phrases you want to memorize as flashcards.

STEP3: Practice the phrases and words on the flashcards. Review what you have learned.

Repeat until you can naturally speak your favorite phrases. By continuously learning with LangTube, you can significantly improve your language skills.

To learn to swim well, you need to get in the water and practice, not just take an online course. The same is true for English conversation. Practice by speaking out loud, rather than passively listening to an online course.

I like the minimal design of the app, that you can use it for free even for basic features. The best way for me to watch youtube videos for language learning with dual subtitles… on iOS! But to be honest it’s still quite buggy and a lot can be done to improve user experience. So I really hope I can provide more direct feedback to Shin the developer and give my support. If the app improves enough, I will 100% suggest it to all my learning community. Forum seems dead no one replied to my questions :( Is there an email to reach you? Thanks !
