CHOOSE YOUR EFFECT Different anagram strategies change how the trick plays: • Progressive — mostly "yes" answers for a confident, building reveal • Transgressive — a true binary search that finds the word in the fewest questions • Random — a genuinely arbitrary path that never looks systematic • Commutative — the same scripted questions every single time • Groupings — reveal letters in groups (the Ascrabbological approach, thanks to The Jerx for allowing us to include this) Instant "Classic" types never fail and need no loading. Tree-search flavors plan the whole sequence ahead, with automatic fallback so a show never stalls.
