Museum of Covilhã

The Museu da Covilhã APP is a multimedia guide that offers users the possibility of getting to know Covilhã better, with two circuit proposals:

• The Museum, where you can find out more about several of the contents presented in the permanent exhibition;
• The City, where you can discover the most important built heritage of the city.

The contents are available in five versions:

• audio in Portuguese;

• audio in English;

• audio description in Portuguese, for visitors with visual impairment;

• audio description in English, for visitors with visual impairment;

• portuguese sign language, for deaf visitors. Functionalities:

• Interactive map navigation (The City circuit)

• Access to points of interest through a list;

• Access to points of interest by typing a numerical code;

• Audio information with professional native voiceover, sound or musical environments, and accompanied by an image gallery;

• Audio version with audio description, for visually impaired visitors;

• Video version in Portuguese sign language, for deaf visitors;

• Information in text format;

• Possibility of sequential visit;

• List of your favorite points of interest;

• Content sharing on social media;

• Useful information (presentation, opening hours, contacts…).
