Indiana Optometric Association

The Indiana Optometric Association is the voice of Doctors of Optometry in service to the eye and vision care needs of the citizens of Indiana. Doctors of Optometry are primary healthcare providers for the eye. The Indiana Optometric Association is dedicated to actively supporting Indiana ODs by positively impacting continuing education, clinical practice, advocacy and networking interests. Indiana optometrists practice in 87 of the 92 counties in the state. They are active and engaged in their communities including volunteering in schools by providing screening and education for children. Founded in 1897, the Indiana Optometric Association (IOA) is the only statewide organization representing the interests of optometrists.
