This system is incredibly slow and outdated. A better system could be assembled in a weekend, utilizing free tiers from hosting providers, and still provide a more performant and enjoyable experience. That should NOT be the case. Loading basic pages takes minutes. Every time you attempt to reserve an amenity, it takes an eternity to load, and the user interface and user experience are terrible and difficult to navigate. It takes minutes for changes to reflect and for the office to see updates on their end. Every time you call our desk team, they always respond with, “Our system is slow. Please hold a moment.” There’s no logical reason why a simple interface like this should be so abysmal. It’s just basic CRUD operations, and there’s no heavy data involved. Either there needs to be an architecture refactor or an upgrade from their 128mb backend systems.
