In Season: eat fresh & healthy

This is a type of app that I feel should have more attention paid to it. I’m always wondering what the best times to buy produce are, so I might plan meals for seasonality, and so it’s handy to have a list. I’ve also always wondered how to store fruits and veggies so they stay better longer. This app does all of that! It’s really quite well designed, showing, at a glance, one’s that are in season, and all about how to store it is just a tap away! The only improvements I could think to make are expanding the list, as there are more fruits and veggies out there, as well as other foods that would be nice to see in an app like this. Could be neat to have a map of where each item is grown and/or a link to more information about the plant. I will say that while $0.99 is quite affordable, I would have happily paid more, but I do like how accessible the information is, given that it was only a dollar. Thank you for making this app. It’s great!
