User Reviews

Reviewers broadly praise Battery Widget: PowerToYou for reliably tracking battery levels across many devices and presenting them in a clean, glanceable widget with watch support. The strongest positives are widespread device coverage and responsive developer updates. However, users repeatedly report onboarding friction (account sign‑in and unclear setup), inconsistent battery updates or alerts, and notable compatibility limits (certain devices not supported, OS restrictions). A few feel the paid price isn’t justified, though others value the feature set and updates.
Pros
  • Reliable multi-device battery tracking with a useful, glanceable widget and watch complication.
  • Broad device coverage and synchronized battery data across devices (Apple Watch, AirPods, iPhone, iPad).
  • Responsive developer support and regular updates that fix issues.
  • Good value for the price and preferred over many free alternatives.
Cons
  • Onboarding is confusing; setup requires an account/sign-in and lacks clear directions.
  • Battery status often fails to update or sync, with missed alerts.
  • Limited device compatibility and OS constraints (some devices not supported; MacOS required for Bluetooth devices; iOS17 limitations).
  • Perceived value concerns; some users feel the app isn't worth the cost compared to free options.

This was a waste of money. There isn't a free trial. The screenshots make it look like it works on your iPhone. Upon installation I find the note that you cannot add BT devices on iOS due to Apple restrictions. The Apple battery widget doesn't show all of my devices which is why I stupidly bought this app. It should have a big disclaimer that you CANNOT add BT devices on iOS. This is only possible on your Mac.

There’s a lot of apps that track device batteries. This one works great. Only 4 stars because there are some other features on similar apps

With so many battery operated devices, keeping them charged when you need them is a pain. This app (widget) lets you do just that. It can be confusing to setup but support was very helpful with instructions. It cannot be used like a regular app. Install the app from the App Store. Remove it from the desktop only. DO NOT DELETE IT! Activate the screen to add widgets. Choose it from the widget list and customize for your needs. The bad reviews obviously did not take the time to figure out how to use the app. The latest version is even better the previous Hope this helps. Great app
