The goal of ResQme.io is to help lost/found pets to find their owners quickly by offering a free community platform, without advertising and without registration.

Nowadays people use different methods when it comes to finding their pets.Some use social networks, others use paid services, and still others use a simple missing persons report on paper that they have created in a hurry.

ResQme.io solves many of these issues by offering a free community platform targeting mainly pet owners or those who are dedicated to their well being. Besides being free, it's a big time saver!

The application can be used in several ways:

If you've lost your pet, you can first browse the map around your location and check for pets already reported by other users. Hopefully, your pet has already been found by someone who uses the app. If the pet is not present, you can create a new record and generate a printable PDF. When you do this, people with the application in the same area will be notified. Therefore, the more guardian angels in an area that have downloaded the application, the more likely the notification will be successful. Nevertheless, the PDF flyer is still very convenient to spread in the neighborhood.

If you have found an animal, you can also use the form and if the owner comes across it he can contact you directly.

If you are just an animal lover like me, then just downloading the application can allow you to be notified of nearby disappearances and to share further the lost animals already reported.

When creating a poster, the fields to fill in are : - Name of the animal - Date of loss - Type of animal (5 possibilities - dog, cat, bird, rabbit, reptile) - A good quality photo - Last known location on a map - Information about the animal (gender, collar, chip) - Name of the owner - Phone number - Optional description

At the time of creation, people within a radius of 25 kilometres of the place of loss will be notified.

This information is completely deleted from the system after 30 days, including the display.

For the smoothest possible experience, ResQme.io uses user geolocation mainly at startup. However, you can disable it and use manual search in the app.
