User Reviews

Blue Box Simulator is a Doctor Who lover’s dream: a detailed, authentic TARDIS experience with multiple interiors, convincing sounds, and a strong flight/exploration feel. It’s praised for visuals and the sense it could be an official game. Yet it suffers from crashes, lag, and overheating; missing content (NPCs, K9, newer interiors), rough controls, and monetization concerns slow the experience. Fans crave more interiors, planets, and improved navigation. Overall, highly appealing but in need of polish and more content; updates are eagerly awaited.
Pros
  • Faithful TARDIS experience with many interiors and exteriors and authentic sounds.
  • Immersive flight and exploration feel, with the ability to pilot the TARDIS and visit planets and cities.
  • Strong Doctor Who fan appeal with detailed visuals, sounds, and a sense it could be an official game.
  • High-quality graphics, realistic physics, and solid user interface.
  • Ongoing development and updates with new interiors and content planned.
Cons
  • Crashes and instability (crashes during play, Cardiff/Earth crashes).
  • Performance problems like lag and overheating on devices.
  • Missing content and features (NPCs/K9, newer Doctor interiors, more planets).
  • Controls and navigation can be confusing and hard to use (landing, autopilot, destination handling).
  • Ads/monetization issues and unlocks causing friction (ads, paid content, skins).

I like the game, but it has quite a few things to add. Whoever made this game needs to see this list of things to add or change: MORE TIME VORTEXES! At LEAST one sonic screwdriver that isn’t locked, more unlocked interiors and exteriors, change it so the player isn’t the only form of life, make it so that depending on the interior that you have the regeneration is different, and finally make it so you can land anywhere on the coordinates thing without having to sign in with your API key. The developers of this game please at least consider my suggestions. please.

Fantastic game, feels like an official doctor who game but I checked the update log it said there’s Npc’s and K9? But they arn’t there. I’m a iPhone user

This is a really great TARDIS experience. It currently has all the iconic TARDIS interiors and exteriors from Hartnell through Capaldi. I would like to see Whittaker and Gatwa in future updates. It even has a sonic screwdriver feature.
