Montana Solitaire (Gaps), also known as Gaps or Spaces, is a four-row, single-suit puzzle. The goal is to order all cards from 2 to K in each row, with Aces removed to create four blank spaces.

Gameplay uses face-up dealing: four rows of 13 cards each. You can move a card to a blank if it is one rank higher than the card to the left and from the same suit. A blank in the first column can only be filled with a Two. Kings block spaces to their right, and you continue until all moves are blocked. If so, press Shuffle Remaining to redeal the non-ascending cards with Aces. The game offers limited shuffles and scoring based on sequential cards, remaining shuffles, and undo penalties. Tips are included to improve strategy. You can shuffle remaining cards three times in Montana Relax and once in Montana Classic.

I can’t help but feel this feeling s 100 percent random with little to no skill. It’s like playing slots. You often are left with one move making it boring and tedious. The only fun is some illusion of agency—when reality is it’s always going to be the same.
