I love this app for its insight into the food systems that we run on while also supporting my goal to eat healthier and support a healthier world. I’ve always wanted to have a plant based diet but become jaded with my own ideas because they are too simple and not tasty. This project changes that for me.

What’s not to love with this app! First, the information about food sustainaibility is fun, clear, and easy to digest. I look forward to my daily quiz questions and love all the charts included in the answers to each question. Second, the user interface is amazing. It’s a fun and easy app to navigate. The shopping list is amazing and I love that I can adjust my ingrediants based on the serving size needed. Third, CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE RECIPES?! I just made my first dish — african peanut soup and WOW! Absolutely delicious and the recipes stretch over a wide palate range. Cooking is my hobby, and this app makes my heart happy :)

This app is beautiful, and I love the focus on the environment in this recipe app. The recipes are good, too! However, it would be better if the app were updated to include adaptions for the U.S. market. (1) Metric is a better system, but sadly we’re stuck with the Imperial system for now in the States. Having Imperial measurements would be helpful. (2) Less importantly, an adaption to what is in season in different regions of the U.S. would be nice as well. This app focuses on northwestern Europe, and seasonal info for other areas would be nice to have.
