User Reviews

User feedback for Cleer+ is mixed. The top concerns are unstable Bluetooth connectivity and frequent pairing problems, plus the app showing only a 'paired' status with little to no post-pairing control. Firmware update failures and occasional bricking are common. Other issues include ANC/ambient mode mislabeling and compatibility gaps (iPad support, device recognition). On the positive side, users praise deep EQ options, voice control, and useful in-app manuals, with some reports of seamless integration when the setup works well.
Pros
  • Extensive audio customization options in the app, including Dolby Atmos EQ, custom EQ, and Smart EQ with multiple presets.
  • Voice control integration for hands-free control.
  • Helpful in-app resources like the user manual and FAQ linked within the app.
  • Some users report seamless pairing and strong device integration (e.g., Ally Plus II with Mimi integration) when it works.
Cons
  • Frequent connectivity and Bluetooth pairing issues; devices often disconnect or won’t stay connected.
  • After pairing, the app often shows only a 'paired' status with no usable controls or settings.
  • Firmware update failures or updates that brick the connection.
  • Mislabeling of features (Ambient Noise Control vs Active Noise Cancelling) and related battery drain.
  • Compatibility gaps: some features not supported on iPad and some devices not recognized.
Recent reviews
Scarcely connects to my buds, despite Bluetooth connected and audio functioning. Even when it does connect, controls are lacking barebones customizability (more than one option for one tap, more options for double tap, ability to control button) app is buggy as well, frequently toggling settings that I didn’t touch. Basically a useless software experience, forcing users to set an EQ and never touch the app again. Outrageous and disappointing user experience for such a competitive earbud (ARC 4)
