Surely we have better things to do with our time. If you are sick of the squabbling and arguing between your kids, this is the app for you. Modify your child's behaviour by implementing this tool for taking turns. Read the instructions when you download it. You add your kids names (no personal data is stored on our servers). One of them gets tagged as having the Green Bowl (more on this later) Whoever has the Green Bowl will decide who sits in the front seat, who has the shower first, who chooses what to watch on TV, the list goes on. Tomorrow, the app will update and the next child we have the Green Bowl. And it continues. And it actually works!

DOES THIS METHOD REALLY WORK?

It has worked for our family for over nine years and is still going. REALLY! It is aimed at families with two or more children aged between 2 and 14.

WHY DID WE CALL IT GREEN BOWL?

When the kids were little, they used to argue over who would have an IKEA green plastic bowl at breakfast. My husband put a note on the fridge to remind him who had the green bowl that day so the next day would be someone else’s turn. Whenever an argument would break out, we would say: Who has the Green Bowl today and that would resolve it! Simple

WHY DO I NEED AN APP FOR THIS?

Up until the release of this app - we still had a note on the fridge of who has the Green Bowl. Believe it or not it gets hard to remember who had what when. Days blend into each other. When you are out and about and the squabbling starts - trying to memorise who had it yesterday is harder than you think. Then the kids squabble over who had the Green Bowl yesterday. The irony! My husband said to me - if only we had an app that could tell us.

SHOULD WE SOLVE OUR KIDS ARGUMENTS?

This method is a tool to stop the ongoing, silly, ridiculous squabbles that are just part of everyday life. For example:

• Whose turn is it to close the car door?
• Who decides the music in the car?

It is not meant to replace constructive argument about important things. It is just to make day to day life a little bit easier by providing a fair system where everyone gets a turn.
