It replaces lost diaries by letting you easily add books, search thousands of titles, log pages read, and add notes about words or sounds your child found challenging. The activity feed shows reading events, band changes, reviews, and teacher interactions where available.

The app also provides a complete book history with search and filters, a Gems-based reward system with reward cards, a one-click magic button for younger children to access their account, and daily reminders to keep a steady reading routine. Note that school access depends on your child's school purchasing BoomReader.
