User Reviews

Pixel Pro Baseball has an appealing retro visuals and satisfying home-run moments, making it great for casual, road-trip play. However, reviews repeatedly flag heavy monetization and gated content (innings, teams, dynasty, ads), limited free play, and overly challenging/hard-to-interpret hitting mechanics. Performance hiccups like freezes and crashes worsen the experience, and intrusive ads can disrupt gameplay. If developers address monetization, improve hit feedback, and stabilize performance, the game could better realize its retro potential.
Pros
  • Retro visuals and baseball feel have strong appeal.
  • Casual, road-trip-friendly gameplay.
  • Hit moments (home runs) feel rewarding when they happen.
  • Noted as one of the better retro baseball games.
Cons
  • Heavy monetization and paywalls: innings, teams, dynasty, and ads limit progress.
  • Limited free play and gating at-bats; content locked behind purchases.
  • Hitting/pitching mechanics are too hard and lack clear feedback.
  • Performance issues: occasional freezes/crashes and unreliable gameplay.
  • Ads can interrupt gameplay or feel intrusive.

It’s a cool game but I can only do career mode where I can play as a sucky DH and play 6 games a season otherwise I have to pay to do anything else. I play for 30 minutes and my career is over. The mode where u are the GM/HC sounds sick cause u can do trades and draft players and stuff while playing up to 162 games a season! However, not willing to pay that sheesh for that. If u are, sounds like a fun game for u.

The baserunning AI flat out SUCKS. I’ve had so many instances of balls being hit into the gaps or making it to the wall and my player stopping at first. Or runners not advancing on sac flys. Or runners being slow to react and getting thrown out at second on a single to center field. Please fix how the AI runs, and this could be a top tier game.
