Pros
- Stunning art and immersive, text-driven storytelling with a polished UI.
- Rich, varied content with many stories, events, and items; Adventurer's Guild adds customization and ongoing updates with new Tales and backgrounds.
- Regular, high-quality updates that consistently expand the game's content.
- Monetization is optional and expansions offer good value.
Cons
- RNG-heavy combat that can feel unfair due to luck-based outcomes and high variance in results.
- Monetization is heavy and expensive, with many required microtransactions to access content.
- Ads can be intrusive or gating progress, with some features tied to ads or long ad sequences.
- Occasional grammar and translation issues in the text.

To start with…feels like people writing these reviews are paid reviewers..
But about the game, yeah it’s fun. It’s charming and has a good art style. Although the amount of ads is a bit over the top, it still has its moments.
I do feel, however, the game is a bit more punishing than it should be. When making choices, it’s usually A. Do something that ends with a fight. Or, B. Run away.
This isn’t inherently bad, but the fights give you a 1% chance of winning, or the “intervene” choice, the one that isn’t run away, causes you to fail more often than succeed. It is not fun to lose all the time.
I understand a game needs challenge, but instead of thinking and solving a puzzle, or something, it’s just random dice rolls. Even the source (which seems like it’s D&D) doesn’t always work on this kind of mechanic.
If the fights and choices felt like they gave the player more agency, more power, it would be rated higher.

I either have the worst luck or the developers don’t believe in drawing in a fan with some victory rolls now and then. I have just started and have already “failed” 5 different rolls without a success.. so.. I am not going to play anymore.
