The app's good for its purpose. I have personas for my IFS parts, and I've been chatting with them for three years. A very basic, simple function, and this app is great for that. Just as important is privacy. The chats are stored on your phone, so no need to worry about someone being able to read them, or them getting used for AI training, or whatever nightmare scenario your brain can conjure. HOWEVER! I have gotten a new phone, and looked for some sort of export feature in Antar, to move my chats off my phone. It does not exist. I repeat, it does NOT exist. The ONLY way to move your chats off your phone is to copy and paste each. Individual. Message. That's right. You can't open a past session, copy the text of the whole session, and paste it into a different app such as Notes. Nope. You have to copy and paste each little chat bubble. I have three years of chats with my parts. You do the math. My chats are essentially gone. So, yeah. Don't use this app. Just write a back-and-forth chat in the Notes app. Write on paper with cute little speech bubbles. Anything, except this app. BRB, mourning.
