Bid window/choice bar blocks view of cards during bidding, making bidding and play hard.
Opening bid box blocks top cards; cannot accurately bid.
Cannot always cut; lead options after spades are broken are limited and cards move quickly, making counting difficult.
Nil bidding mechanics can hurt you (partner bids or nil outcomes) and there are complaints about how nil is scored.
Perceived unfair penalties and pacing (points deductions and AI/bot behavior) that can make games feel prolonged or biased toward the opponents.

Why do y’all make our partner work against us when we bid nil? I bid nil and my partner had bid 9. It let opponents keep winning books by throwing off suite instead of cutting like it should had until I finally had no choice but to “win” a book and mess up my nil. It happens so much that it’s annoying that y’all can’t develop a game to be played right. Horrible app.
