Features & Capabilities

In 2029 a virus reduced the world's population by 99%, leaving a single outpost to defend humanity. As the commander, you must build, merge, and upgrade towers, ensure a steady ammo supply, and keep the wall intact as waves of zombies press in.

Zombies vs. Towers offers 20 tower levels, unlimited ammo, diverse zombie types, armory upgrades, power-ups, nukes, EMPs, headshots mode, and defensive enhancements like barb wire and spikes to reinforce the wall.

User Reviews

Zombies vs. Towers delivers a fun core merging/tower-building concept with engaging progression for early levels. However, most reviews criticize its heavy, lengthy ads and monetization tactics, poor balance and progression, and a range of technical bugs that hinder reliability. Players also note diminishing content after early stages and concerns about pay-to-win. While some find it enjoyable and relaxing, the overall consensus is that ads and reliability issues significantly detract from the experience.
Pros
  • Engaging core gameplay with tower progression that many players enjoy.
  • Time-consuming and can be relaxing or 'chill' to play for extended sessions.
  • Overall positive sentiment from a number of players, with several calling it a fun or amazing game.
Cons
  • Heavy reliance on ads: long, intrusive ads that gate rewards and sometimes feel like ad bait.
  • Balance and progression issues: level difficulty spikes, stuck levels, perceived pay-to-win elements, and limited meaningful upgrades.
  • Frequent bugs and reliability problems: level/damage bugs, ammo refill issues, achievements not unlocking, Game Center sync problems, and occasional crashes.
  • Limited content after early progression: no daily rewards after a short period and ends that reduce long-term engagement.

Tried to play this but right after the first wave an ad pops up for another game. I want to close that and play this game but anywhere I click then it goes to the other game. I can’t get to the 2nd wave. Very Lame.

Since the last update certain zombies no longer appear on the wave, meaning the towers still shoot, but no income is generated for the kills on the “ghost zombies”. The difficulty multiplier is also broken not generating the revenue it used to for harder levels. I’ve put some good money and a lot of time into this game, and now it’s broken with no fix in site. I’ve tried emailing the dev team about the issues and haven’t heard back about it. Disappointed.
