However, users consistently report major reliability issues: persistent upgrade loops preventing app launch, login friction, unreliable calendar syncing (including time zones), and crashes or blank screens. The app is often praised for its on-the-road usability and parity with desktop features, but stability and a smoother login/upgrade experience are needed.

Pros

Easy to use and intuitive for officials, with parity to desktop features for multi-permission users.
Strong on-the-go workflow for accepting games, scheduling, and messaging.
Provides quick access to needed information and supports multi-permission roles similar to the desktop app.
Calendar integration improved in newer versions, including linking iCal to the phone calendar.
Generally better than other officiating apps and perceived as reliable once issues are resolved.

Cons

Frequent update/upgrade loops that prevent opening or require repeated upgrades.

This app runs like it was designed by a middle schooler. Possibly the worst interface ever.

The App Store said I needed to upgrade so I did that. Now when I go to open the app it still says to upgrade takes me to App Store and no upgrade just says open App. I’ve deleted app and re installed it still doesn’t let me log in keeps telling me to upgrade
