Construction Eye

Construction Eye is a site oversight tool for tracking and recording the progress of construction projects, whether civil, public realm, land development or building works.

Surveillance officers capture geotagged photos on site, grouped into point-in-time snapshots, so the state of a project on any given day can be reviewed later in full. Photos are tagged, described and pinned to the map, giving a fine-grained visual record of work completed.

CAPTURE • Take geotagged photos, or choose them from your library, and group them into snapshots for each subproject • Tag and describe each photo as you go, with recent descriptions suggested as you type • Saving returns you to the list immediately while the upload finishes in the background, so you can keep moving across a site • Adjust a photo's location on the map when GPS falls short

DEFECTS AND ACTIONS • Raise an issue against any part of a subproject, with a photo and description • Track open issues and record how each one was resolved, with a resolution photo • Review active and resolved issues side by side

SITE AUDITS • Complete inspection forms in the field, question by question • Attach comments, photos or a linked issue to any answer • Progress saves as you work, so an audit can be paused and picked up later • Review everything outstanding before submitting, and read back submitted audits on site

MAP • See every photo and issue for a subproject on one map, with photo thumbnails and numbered pins • Overlay site plans and adjust their opacity to line work up against the design
