Who's the best basketball player ever? What restaurant has the best sushi in town? What’s Drake’s best album?

It seems like we compare everything. We're always debating what’s the best this or the worst that. Sometimes we do it for practical purposes like picking a restaurant and sometimes we just do it for fun. Rank 1t is the app that enables us to do this as a community. Together, we can make these debates more fun and decisive.

Rank 1t is a free iMessage widget that lets people send polls to others via text message. Users vote together in iMessage by ranking the options on a given poll from 1st to 4th place. At the moment, Rank 1t only allows for 4 options for each poll.

There are two ways to send a Rank 1t poll. You can create a brand-new poll or you can search through the vast “Categories” library that is already full of preloaded polls. You can find something fun to debate with your friends there.

When you create a new poll, you must submit your poll into one of the existing Rank 1t categories. Once you do that, anyone on the app can also see that poll and send it to their friends if they want to. The “Trash” category is meant for one-off polls that are not meant for the general Rank 1t community (inside jokes for example). The polls in the Trash category will be cleared regularly. Every user can also send/text a poll to themself so that they can vote on a poll alone and see how their votes match up with everyone else on the app. So really, you’re never voting alone - you’re always voting with the entire Rank 1t community.

The polls that are being used the most by everyone on the app will move up in the “Ranked” category/folders. The Ranked category and the Ranked folders within each category show you an up-to-date list of what polls are being talked about the most (which polls users are selecting to vote on the most). See if your poll can make it to the top of the Ranked category!

If you would like to get recognition for your poll, all you have to do is “sign” the poll when you’re creating it. You can sign it with your Instagram handle so that the official Rank 1t Instagram account can give you a shoutout on Instagram. Try to make your poll funny, interesting, or simply debate worthy.

The Cities category is a valuable feature that is offered for free to the Rank 1t community! You can go to the Cities category to see what people are comparing in your city. Start a poll and add it to your city's category to see what people think about something that you find interesting or useful! This category will be more and more useful to people all over the world as we expand our Rank 1t community.

The Categories will be ever-changing. If you would like to request a new category, all you have to do is follow the official Rank1t Instagram account and send us a DM with the name of your new category along with a brief explanation of why it would be a good addition.

As you can now see, the possibilities for Rank 1t are endless! From the “king of trap music” to the “friendliest dog breed”, we can rank it all.
