User Reviews

Users praise a simple cat-friendly concept with interactive visuals and sounds that can entertain some cats. However, widespread issues include intrusive ads and heavy monetization, making it frustrating to use for many. Cat engagement varies—some cats respond, but many ignore or are overwhelmed. The app’s appeal depends on your cat and tolerance for ads and subscriptions.
Pros
  • Cats engage with the app and will play with lasers, mice, and fish visuals, according to multiple reviews.
  • The concept is simple and easy for cat owners to understand and use.
  • Adjustable settings allowing you to tailor the experience (e.g., number of lasers, speed) to your cat’s temperament.
  • Sound cues and interactive features can help attract cats and enhance owner–cat interaction.
Cons
  • Ads are excessive and intrusive—long, frequent, and often appear after taps or before gameplay.
  • Freemium monetization is heavy—many features require a subscription or paid access rather than being truly free.
  • Engagement is inconsistent—many cats ignore the game, get overwhelmed, or are scared by sounds.
  • Ads sometimes disrupt loading or prevent games from starting, worsening the user experience.

I downloaded this for my cat so she could play games, and it wouldn’t detect her paws. She was so sad and sat there staring at it after failed attempts to make it work. I am sure this was a good app for people who could use the app effectively, but unfortunately my cat did not have this experience, #justiceforbarbara

So I have four cats and all of them were frankly quite uninterested in the mouse moving around. The mouse's movements were also really unnatural, because it literally whipped around. One of my cats showed some interest except they just batted the place where sound was coming from. But the cat blog is pretty cool.
