User Reviews

Users like the app's look and watch integration, but many report it doesn't measure SPO2, uses estimations, and has reliability issues. The subscription model, upselling, lack of support, and frequent prompts worsen the experience, leading to frustration despite convenient design and sleep data.
Pros
  • Clean design and easy-to-understand interface.
  • Works well with Apple Watch and keeps all data in one place.
  • Includes sleep information and broader health data, not just oxygen readings.
Cons
  • Does not actually measure blood oxygen saturation; relies on questions/heart rate/breathing, making its core claim misleading.
  • Premium subscription is expensive with aggressive upsell prompts and reports of poor developer support and refunds.
  • Reliability issues: readings stop recording, there are long gaps, and data may only appear in Health app instead of the Blood Oxygen app.
  • Apple Watch integration is limited; the watch readouts do not provide real SPO2.
  • No free trial and frequent pay prompts, making it hard to test before paying.

This is a waste of money, your Apple Watch can already tell you your heart beat. I got it for the oxygen saturation, but it doesn’t actually tell you a %. It just asks questions. It says you have to have an Apple Watch 6, I have the newest Apple Watch, and when opening the app on your watch, it asks you for your %.
