People log hours with a one-click timer, from the desktop app, the phone, the Chrome extension, or a Slack command, or fill them in later on a weekly timesheet grid. Nothing is reconstructed from memory at month end.

Then the workflow closes itself. Sandtime.io sends the fill-timesheet reminders automatically, on the dashboard, by email, and as an in-app popup. Managers approve or reject with one click straight from the email. Past periods lock on their own, with every approval and unlock timestamped, so the record stays final.

From there, tracked time becomes output you can act on: client-ready reports, cost and revenue breakdowns, project budget and margin visibility, and Excel or CSV exports ready to bill from. Multi-currency support and historical rates keep past reports accurate even after rates change.

What Sandtime.io will never do is watch your team. No screenshots, no keystroke logging, no activity scoring, no location tracking. Hours are self-reported declarations, which is why people actually open it in the morning.
