The Informationsdienst Wissenschaft (idw) publishes the press releases of more than 1,000 universities, colleges and research institutions from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This makes it the central source for science news.

With the idw app, you can access the latest news from idw member institutions in real time. You can use keywords to find the reports that you are interested in and create your own personal news ticker. When a news item that corresponds to your interests is published, our app will notify you immediately.

An algorithm developed in-house analyses all idw press releases from the past months and identifies relevant keywords, which you can then select as search criteria. We review and analyse search results on an ongoing basis to provide continuous improvements to the algorithm.
