I downloaded Pocket FM specifically because of a story I saw advertised on Facebook. I watched the preview and was genuinely interested in hearing the rest. The voices, narration, and way the story was presented are what drew me in and convinced me to download the app. Then I downloaded it…and it was different. The voices changed. The narration changed. Even parts of the way the storyline was presented changed. That is extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, deceptive advertising. If you’re going to advertise a particular version of a story on social media to get people interested enough to download your app, then THAT should be the experience they receive when they get there. Don’t reel people in with one version and then switch it up after they download. At least give people an accurate preview so WE can decide whether we’re interested in downloading the app. I was actually excited about this story, and now I’m deleting the app because I feel completely misled. What got me to download Pocket FM could have kept me as a customer. The switch-up is exactly what lost me.

The issue seems to happen in the stories with the Black characters! The voices are horrible and don’t match the characters. Also, we get hooked on the ad version and there is a major switch to pictures instead of the acting during the series. Please fix this. It’s a complaint that is listed within the episodes comments.
