Bullet: Journal, Daily Planner

ADHD Organizer, Calendar Notes

Features & Capabilities

Bullet: Journal, Daily Planner is an ADHD-friendly Chrome extension that unifies tasks, notes, events, and habits into one timeline. Built on the Bullet Journal method, it supports rapid logging, scheduling, collections, and migration. Open the app, tap + to capture whatever's on your mind, and keep everything organized by day, week, month, or year. It works offline and syncs across devices, with reminders and a fast search so nothing falls through the cracks.

It replaces your app stack—to-do, notes, calendar, and habit tracker—so you can stay focused. The minimal interface is designed for quick capture, with features like collections, tags, sub-tasks, and templates. Bullet also offers home screen widgets, data export, drag-and-drop organization, and a no-ads, no-tracking experience. It’s indie-developed, built for one person who wanted the app they'd use, and it continues to improve with each feature request.

User Reviews

Users praise Bullet: Journal for its simple, paper-like UI and faithful BuJo structure with flexible views and widgets. Common downsides are a mandatory sign-in to test, stability problems, recurring-task and daily-list glitches, a pricey annual charge after a trial, and several missing features (multi-day events, biweekly/monthly habits).
Pros
  • Simple, clean, distraction-free UI that mirrors a paper bullet journal
  • Faithful Bullet Journal implementation with notes, tasks, events, future log, lists, and habit tracking across daily/weekly/monthly/yearly views
  • Generous free tier with substantial functionality available without paying
  • Widget and calendar-like views provide quick daily overviews and easy task management
  • Cross-device syncing, including Android, for seamless access to data
Cons
  • Requires signing in to try the app; guest mode either doesn’t work or testing feels invasive
  • Reliability issues: the app sometimes won’t load or crashes, making it hard to use
  • Recurring task glitches and daily lists not reliably displaying (data loss/visibility issues)
  • Pricing model feels aggressive: annual charges after a short trial with limited recourse
  • Missing features: multi-day events, biweekly/monthly habits, and other enhancements (CRM, photo attachments)

Looked like a promising app so I downloaded it. Unfortunately they want me to create a long in to try it as there guest mode doesn’t work. Deleting it as I can not try it before buying.

Finally, a Bullet app that feels simple and just like I would do it on paper. Simple, yet comprehensive. Thank you for creating this App!
