User Reviews

Users praise Tweek for its clean, minimalist design, ad-free experience, and strong focus on simple task management that helps stay organized—especially for school or daily planning. The free version is appealing, and features like recurring tasks, subtasks, and color-coding add structure without clutter. However, multiple reviews flag reliability concerns: subscription pricing feels too steep, and cross-platform bugs (desktop drag-and-drop issues, mobile login/infinite loading, and typing problems) can hinder use. Calendar sync issues and occasional UI glitches further dampen reliability.
Pros
  • Simple, minimalist UI that's easy to use and visually appealing.
  • Ad-free experience.
  • Effective for staying organized with intuitive day-by-day task movement, calendar options, and support for recurring tasks and subtasks.
  • Flexible features for a minimalist app (recurring tasks, subtasks, color-coding, headers) that add structure without clutter.
  • Free version is usable and appreciated by many users.
Cons
  • Premium pricing is perceived as overpriced; subscription costs criticized by multiple reviews.
  • Cross-platform bugs and performance issues (desktop drag-and-drop freezes; mobile login/infinite loading; typing problems) that hinder usability.
  • Calendar sync issues (calendar does not stay synced across openings, requiring repeated re-synchronization).
  • Input/ordering glitches (typing sometimes blocked or inconsistent task reordering) and other occasional UI glitches.
Recent reviews
I’ve been using this app for years, and I’m pretty sure I’ve already written at least one review, but it just asked for another so here it is… The interface works perfectly with my work and my personal life. For work, I always have a bunch of projects that I need to complete for clients and I’m able to write them all down as soon as they come in and drag them onto the day that I want to start working on them. If things go wrong I just dragged them to the next day. I’m kind of oversimplifying how I use it because there are a lot of really cool things that you can do to customize it such as color coding your entries, creating additional columns for notes such as what the color codes represent, entering bulleted sublists within each entry, etc. I bought a separate subscription for my wife who has ADHD and I connected our accounts so I can help her manage her to do list. i’ve tried so many apps and occasionally I test out new ones to see if they do something better than this one, but I’m pretty convinced that this is seriously the single app that does the best job for me personally.
