PedsCalc

PedsCalc is a reference and educational tool for physicians, RNs, paramedics, and other healthcare workers caring for pediatric patients. The app provides information regarding commonly used resuscitation, anesthetic, and sedative medications.

PedsCalc features Include:

• Estimation of weight based on entered age when measured a measured weight is unavailable.

• Information regarding commonly used resuscitation medications.

• Information regarding medications commonly used for treatment of hyperkalemia and anaphylaxis.

• Information for an array of anesthetic medications including hynoptics, neuromuscular relaxants, analgesics, anti-emetics, and local anesthetics.

• Information regarding the most common pediatric sedative medications

Written entirely in SwiftUI, Apple's new user interface framework, this results in a lightweight, simple, and responsive app. Faster and easier to use than a cumbersome textbook or a pocket reference card. This app was developed by a practicing anesthesiologist and will hopefully be invaluable to both learners and healthcare workers in their care of pediatric patients.
