Northgard is a Norse mythology-inspired strategy game where you command a Viking clan to settle, survive, and conquer a mysterious new continent. Build a settlement, assign Vikings to jobs, manage resources, and expand across lands filled with peril and opportunity. Experience the Rig's Saga campaign and engaging multiplayer modes for up to 6 players, including Duel, Free-for-All, and Teamplay. To complete the 11 campaign chapters, you’ll need to master the specificities of the initial six clans and tame the unforgiving Northgard wilderness.

Carefully redesigned for mobile, Northgard brings a revamped interface, Game Center achievements, and iCloud progress sharing. DLC clans such as Snake, Dragon, Kraken, Horse, Ox, Lynx, Squirrel, Rat, and Eagle expand gameplay and are available separately or in bundles, unlocking new tactics as you pursue varied victory conditions across campaigns.

Recent reviews

This is a game people paid $8 for, yet the multiplayer is essentially unplayable. It isn’t being meaningfully updated, improved, or maintained, while the developers continue to let players believe that these issues are going to be addressed. What makes it even more frustrating is the fact they put out a mobile version like this at all. It feels like a straight-up cash grab that took advantage of a loyal fanbase who had already supported and enjoyed this game on console or PC. Bringing the game to mobile, charging players for it, and then leaving it in this state is a complete disservice to the people who supported the game in the first place. The community deserves better than empty promises and a paid game that barely functions as intended. This isn’t how you treat loyal players. I can’t believe these game companies anymore.
