Users like the Bliss app for quick setup and convenient Alexa/voice control, plus useful scenes and timers when everything works. However, many reviews repeatedly cite serious reliability problems: inaccurate shade and battery data, crashes, and unstable pairing; devices disappearing and difficult hub management; weak or non-existent HomeKit/Siri support; and unreliable automations (schedules not persisting or failing). Overall, the app often fails to provide consistent control, making it hard to rely on for daily use despite some positive experiences.

Pros

Easy to set up and use with a straightforward UI.

Recent reviews

Just spent the money on buying a bridge to use the app. Rarely shows accurate info which makes it kind of worthless if you’re not physically there to see the shade position and you still have to use remote or Alexa, but neither of those tell you when you’re getting low on battery life. Currently out of 3 shades closed to 97% and all three were charged within the last 24 hours, the app shows shades are at 47%, 41% and closed and 2 show yellow battery and 1 red battery. Of the 6 data points, not one is accurate. It’s a recurring theme. They really need to revamp this thing based on all of the similar reviews to mine. Why have an app that is so off the mark?!
