The page says I can’t find my account, etc. trash stay away from this horrendous app.

Unfortunately, the shift has significantly impacted the availability of work in the New York City metro area. Under Handy, there was a steady and reliable flow of cleaning jobs across Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. Since the transition to Angi, I’ve noticed a major decline in job availability, and the app now feels very limited in terms of opportunities in these areas. For professionals who rely on consistent bookings, this change has made it much more difficult to find steady work. I hope Angi can improve job distribution and expand opportunities in NYC to better support cleaners who depend on the platform.

2026-04-18	Ch*****	This app has no standards or ethics. They will rip you out of your money so fast just watch out. Saw a job description for roofing. 200 dollars the customer plainly stated for estimate only. I read that and thought good deal I’ll do that. Show on time climb roof and do inspection and give them an estimate. They needed whole roof replaced. Around 8 grand. 3 days later I see a few of 300 plus dollars. They say it’s because no work was performed. Excuse me? It was your add. I met every requirement asked . What did you want me to do a 8000 dollar job for 200 dollars? I did everything asked in the add 100 percent. They won’t listen they just fine you to death. Forget this garbage. That’s why angis is pretty much laughed at in the industry. Because they are crooked idiots.

They will claw back any extra work you might’ve put into the client’s project; they’ll claim to have lost their bookings and won’t pay you for the week’s services; they’ll refuse to add hours to your account even when the customer is right there and confirming it. They’ll send you to a job that requires two people to assemble fully knowing there’s not another installer, they’ll tell you on the phone how you’ll get paid double and after it’s been done and finished will stiff you once more and pretend that they don’t know what’s wrong. I will never again use this platform for any reason and demand accountability.

The app menu at the bottom of the app covers the necessary buttons to click while checking out! You cannot read the bottoms because they are covered by the menu. I have been guessing when checking out that I’m clicking the correct button through the app menu. It works, but needs attention.

2026-04-13	Wo*****	I signed up to pick up some side jobs. After a while I decided I didn’t need this platform any longer. I tried to delete my information and account. They don’t provide a clear cut way to do it. They bounce you around and try to talk you into deactivating the account instead of deleting it. Huge RED flag. Also they don’t have the ability to do this so they have to escalate a ticket to request it. It isn’t really that hard to do this. Many apps give you the ability within the app. Angi must be selling the information otherwise why be so stingy about canceling and deleting? This has been a nightmare.
