User Reviews

Users generally love the app’s ease of use, receipt organization, and tax-friendly features, plus responsive support and export options. The main drawback is the paywall: a subscription model with limited free access and high prices, which frustrates users who want more affordable or one-time purchase options.
Pros
  • Easy to navigate and with a user-friendly, well-designed UI.
  • Strong receipt archiving/storage with editing capabilities.
  • Helpful for tax/expense tracking for small businesses and contractors.
  • Responsive support and willingness to add requested features.
  • Export reports to Excel for accounting.
Cons
  • Paywall and high subscription pricing, which gates full functionality.
  • Free tier limits a small number of expenses before requiring a subscription.
  • Some ambiguity about which features are free versus paid and overall cost.

The app is good overall. However, I wish that the description would have noted that you can only add 10 or so expenses until they want you to subscribe (unless I missed something on the app page before I downloaded). I’m extremely frustrated because I spent about an hour or so tracking down various expenses and putting them into the app before I was met with a paywall. Everything is a subscription model nowadays and I wish that I could do a one-time purchase that isn’t almost $90! Just use excel or something similar, because the scans barely work and you end up having to type in all the information manually. I can see how this would be useful, but just know that you will have to pay 4.99/mo, 44.99/yr, or the 89.99 lifetime subscription to be able to use the app with full functionality.

I moved over from Expensify to this app because I found that it was straight forward while Expensify is crowded with options and over complicated. I also looked at tried additional apps for my business besides Expensify. I have found this app to be more of what I’m looking for to meet my needs. Response time was same day which I didn’t expect, and feedback was taken to account so the app could be updated to reflect concerns. A refreshing exchange in a world where this can be very limited at times.
