Fi Money: Open Account Online

The app is fantastic- probably one of the best banking apps out there. However, I had faced an issue where my account was frozen for over a year. I would say, during this time, Fi wasn’t very helpful with timely updates. However, I would still personally recommend it- simply for the beautiful app and a bunch of great features that come with the debit card. Kudos to the developers!

Hi Team, can you guys add other login options like Email?? It’s hard to access the account with the phone number when you are abroad or sim is lost!!

This app doesn’t follow Apple’s guidelines. It doesn’t allow any customization on what notifications it can send. Being a banking app, obviously some notifications are important so we can’t just turn them entirely off. But they take advantage of this and send at least 5 spam notifications everyday. Apple Store guidelines require all apps that send notifications to provide a way to turn off marketing notifications. Fi has seemingly tried to mislead the App Review process by having a notifications section in the settings but it always says coming soon when clicked. It has said so for the last 2 years so they clearly don’t intend to ever add it. I will probably move my money out and stop using them; don’t want to deal with such scummy marketing tactics.
