I’ve been looking for a new pantry app since my old one was removed from the store (new phone and it wouldn’t transfer). Looked at quite a few, but they either couldn’t be shared or had a terrible UI. Like this UI, it’s shareable between different users devices (even with the free version). Also, for the free version the ads aren’t intrusive, but felt compelled to buy a subscription so they can keep developing.

It is incredibly rare for me to give an app 5 stars since I see that as perfection and it’s pretty hard to be perfect. But this app is really close to perfect, and that combined with a very kind and communicative dev makes it 5 stars for me! I tried dozens of pantry/expiration tracking apps (like literally.. around 70 of them 😅) and this one is hands down the best. The free tier is so incredibly generous and even that free tier knocks multiple other similar premium apps out of the water IMO. There are little bugs or improvements that could be made here and there, but I emailed the dev about one and they responded quickly, politely, and with a full explanation. It’s so refreshing to see that. Since the free tier is so spectacular, I don’t really see much need personally for the premium version.. But considering the quality and the dev’s dedication, it’s gone on my list as the first subscription to get when I have a little bit more room in my budget. 🙂 I encourage anyone else loving the app to do the same!

After trying several pantry apps this one finally seems to answer my needs. I can record price per unit and even track data per item (like one opened, different best before date etc). It allows entering/modifying parameters for unrecognized bar codes. The pantry & shopping lists are separate and items can be moved between them. I started entering my pantry items, am hoping not to reach a limit and then have to pay a yet undisclosed price (it’s an “in app purchase” type, we’ll see). This is asking for a lot, but if eventually it could interface to an App I also use called Flipp (for flyers/coupons), that would be great. Congratulations to developer, very well thought out!
