Just how another review mentioned; This used to be a great app with handwritten lessons! They were split up into categories and even provided helpful notes that included important context. It was a perfect cheat sheet for travelers, or Filipino-Americans that were familiar with some words, but never knew how to speak the language. Now it just uses generative AI prompting. There’s no soul, and no important notes or explanations that help with the dialogue aspect. I’m disappointed and disgusted!

This app used to have hand-curated lessons, split into categories. Not the prettiest UI, but the content and writing felt sincere and was super helpful. I recently opened the app again, only to find out that all my lessons have been deleted, and all that remains is an AI chatbot that lets you ask 3 questions for free before requiring you to pay an insane amount. I hit ‘restore purchases’ and it returned nothing to me - they LITERALLY deleted everything I had access to before and gave us a chatGPT wrapper you can only use for 3 prompts. Stay away from this app, all previous reviews are unrelated. You may as well just use chatGPT for free… Disappointing, garbage, greedy move.
