Mr Cheruvu has been instrumental in developing a complex variety of advanced Laparoscopic procedures. He also specialises in bariatric, benign upper gastrointestinal problems, operating regularly on the oesophagus (gullet) and stomach. He has a special interest in keyhole (Laparoscopic) surgery since 1993 which forms a major part of his practice and started bariatric surgery in 2002. He has considerable clinical research and teaching interests.
