SnipCopy allows you to extract text from your camera or pictures on your iPhone / iPad. SnipCopy uses state of the art Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to get you the best results.

For optimal scanning, please ensure the following:

Take pictures in good lighting with minimal shadows
High contrast images yield the best results
Pictures of computer screens do not scan well (this is best used with screenshots or pictures of printed documents - like receipts and contracts)

I’m guessing the author stopped paying for whatever third party reads the text. That or his source website went down. Either way this app is functionally useless
