The Trained Eye is the smart driving companion built for learner drivers, new drivers, and anyone who wants to become safer and more confident behind the wheel. Using your phone's sensors, The Trained Eye automatically detects when you start driving and tracks every trip in the background — no buttons to press, no setup required. When your trip ends, you get a detailed score and breakdown of your driving behaviour, including hard braking, sharp cornering, rapid acceleration, speeding events, and phone use.

HOW IT WORKS The Trained Eye runs silently in the background using your phone's built-in motion and location sensors. It automatically detects the start and end of every drive, analyses your behaviour in real time, and delivers a score out of 100 when your trip is complete. The more you drive, the smarter your coaching gets.

After each trip, you'll see exactly what happened and when — with timestamps for every event and a personalised coaching tip based on your recent driving patterns.

PARENT PORTAL (Premium — $9.99/month) Let a parent or guardian follow your progress without being in the car. They can view your full trip history, scores, and events through a secure web portal or the app. Up to 4 drivers per account.
